There is an unsanctioned truck event planned for Oct. 22-26. According to organizers, there is not an official meeting location or planned activities for the event dubbed “Trucktoberfest.”
Oversized vehicles are expected to drive on the beach during the day and cruise Atlantic Avenue at night. DBPD is coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to proactively address traffic, noise, neighborhood intrusion and behavior complaints tied to past big truck events in our community.
